David Saint and Paul Carr play the JW Walker organ in St Chad’s Cathedral, Birmingham.
Thursday Live Organ recitals usually take place on the first Thursday in every month but are suspended currently due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile we are offering these short ‘as live’ videos as an alternative.

Any proceeds from the series go towards the upkeep of the cathedral organ which, of course, still has to be maintained at this time.

3) Follow link to the diocesan website
4) Select ‘Make a single donation’
5) On ‘Payment Details’ page select the ‘Donating to’ drop down menu and choose ‘Birmingham: Cathedral’ On-line donations made between 1.30pm and 4.00pm (UK time) on the first Thursday of the month will be directed towards the series.
The second way to donate is to send a cheque, payable to ‘St Chad’s Cathedral Choir’ to: The Director of Music, St Chad’s Cathedral, Queensway, Birmingham, B4 6EU.
